Spring Fling Events in Dizzywood

In May Dizzywood held its annual Spring Fling. Spring always ushers in tons of new and exciting things. Here's a run down of all the events that happened this past May.

Springs showers brought May flowers to the Garden Gazebo. Katherine de Claw collected all these new seedlings to share with you including the Ice Cream Tree and Kahuna Plant seeds. Go see Kat (don't forget to pick up some bubbling mulch in Wildwood Glen on the way) to start your fresh new garden.

The Bake Sale was an incredible successful fundraiser for the less fortunate members of Dizzywood. At this event players gathered together to provide delicious bake goods for everyone to purchase.

The sale was marked by signs, new themed costumes like the popular cupcake hat, and booths decorated with Kat's new ice cream tree. Players were urged to snap photos to document this charitable event.

Another food theme event that happened in May was Presto's Annual Picnic.

The picnic took place in Farthings Meadow, beautiful weather called for this outside affair. Here players chilled out on picnic blankets and ate delicious food. Silver and Gold members even had their own VIP spot at Farthing Pond. Presto loves having everyone get together and mingle, there really is no better way to form a Dizzywood community.

The culmination of Spring Fling had to be the Concert. Dizzywood players formed bands and but on their best show. The stage in Canal City became a total rock out spot. Who knew all these DIzzywood players were so talented?! For the Battle of the Bands players made videos out of their performances. You can watch the winners on Dizzywood's YouTube Channel.

It addition to all these events, new spring clothes and furniture were added to Dizzywood stores.

Spring Fling got all Dizzywood players involved and having fun. It was the perfect kick off to Summer... Read about Dizzywood Summer events here.

Corrupt Dizzywood Characters

Unfortunately amongst the many Dizzywood characters loom villains. Emperor Withering and his henchmen are constantly trying to take over Dizzywood and scare its loyal citizens away. You can stop them by taking part in missions. As they say, keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. Learn a bit more about these villains so you can do you best to beat them. (Limited pictures for this post. It's difficult and dangerous to grab photos of these elusive Dizzywood characters...)

Emperor Withering: Simon Withering has been at war with Dizzywood for sometime. He wants more land, including that of Dizzywood, so his empire can grow. He often surveys Dizzywood from his zeppelin high up in the sky. It would be awful if Withering were to control Dizzywood because he hates fun. In his own empire of Witherland he banished art, music, sports, and any other enjoyable pass times. One can only imagine the downfall of Dizzywood under his rule. He is a hot-headed tyrant who could snap at any moment. Take heed and watch out for Emperor Withering.

Grool Grubnibbler: This swamp monster is one of Emperor Withering's henchmen. Grool occupies the noxious swap on the edge of Tanglevine Jungle. The path to the swamp, like all henchmen's headquarters, is marked by a skull and cross bones, warning players of the danger that lie ahead. Grool has gone and captured the poor defenseless garden sprites. It's up to you to save them and foil Grool's evil plans.

Professor Pimpleton Plumpox: Sequestered high up in Skytown Skatepark is the mad scientist Professor Pimpleton Plumpox. This fire troll has an unmistakable flash of red hair. Though a brilliant scientist, Plumpox always seemed to use his smarts for evil and destruction. Withering naturally saw this potential in him and recruited him as one of his henchmen. Since then Plumpox took orders to create the chopbots that destroyed Wildwood Glen. Who knows what awful inventions he could come up with next... Become and expert player and help to stop this corrupt mind!

Rat Wraith: Rat Wraith was corrupted when he first started stealing. This petty crime soon turned into grand robbery when he went after Canal City's First National Bank. He now lives on the edge of the Wildwood Forest in his lair called the Gnarl.

In addition to his henchmen Emperor Withering has an army of monsters he often deploys. Currently they can be found roaming Canal City Road and the Endless Wild, blocking Dizzywood player's path.

Check Out This Fun Free Kids Game

Dizzywood is a popular online kids game. It is an interactive virtual world full of talking animals and enchanted lands, where kids can explore, play games, and meet new friends. It is free for kids to play, but if they want to unlock more activities and features they can subscribe to be a Gold or Silver member for a monthly rate.

Here I'll lay out a few of the fundamental features so you can know what separates  from all other online kids games

When first arriving in Dizzywood players can start by customizing their character's look. Change the shape and color of their face, eyes, eyebrow, nose, mouth, and hair of your character. Players can spend time sifting through all the option, or if they feel like taking a change they can roll a dice and a random look will be selected for them. If players grow out of their look, or just want to try something new, they're free to change their look anytime.

Players who want to keep experimenting with their look should try a change of clothes. The Clothing Wagon in Presto's Grove offers several different Tops, Pants, and Hats to choose from. And the best news is these clothes are free! If players still want more, there's a greater selection of clothes at stores all around Dizzywood. However, only Silver and Gold members are allowed to purchase these clothes. If you want to read more about the clothing stores in Dizzywood check out my other kids games article.

First time players should also settle in to their very own home. Brooke Lodgington the Beaver will happily offer players a new home. Brooke can be found in Presto's Edge next to the Furniture Emporium. Along with their home, players will receive an Introductory Home Guide. This guide layouts out the fundamentals of home ownership, including how to get to and from your house, and where to buy furniture.

Now players should begin exploring!

This kids games has many different areas to explore. Each area of Dizzywood has a totally different style and feel. Players can get to know all the known lands of Dizzywood by checking out the map their given when they first log in. This map should stay in their backpack as an easy reference tool. Once players become familiar with the map, they may begin to discover uncharted lands. These secret lands are one of the most surprising and exciting finds within the kids' game.

Players looking for a purpose should undertake a few missions. The missions are story related challenges. Players who succeed will be rewarded with new tools, coins, or badges, depending on the mission.

Games also exist outside of missions. Games are the best way to accumulate coins!

There are tons of games to choose from in Dizzywood. Players can stumble upon games by clicking on objects or characters that light up. Games test different abilities like memory and speed. An example of a reoccurring game in Dizzywood is Force Field. In this game two opposing players are positioned on opposite sides of the screen. They bounce a ball back and forth with the goal of getting the power ball past your player. A more intellectually stimulating game is Word Race. Like hangman the player must fill in the blanks to guess the correct word. Players should feel free to try out all the various games. There's no penalty for losing and they can play as many times as they like.
